Hemp plant won't grow?

Am I doing something wrong here? I've planted a hemp seed and carrot at the same time. The carrot grew and gave me two seeds which I planted. The hemp wasn't ready so I gave it time..But now the other two carrots have grown and yet it's still unharvested?

you're harvesting the carrot in the second to last growth stage if you're getting seeds. if you wait a bit longer you get carrots (you can plant one of them just like planting a seed). carrots are also the fastest growing crop. hemp takes about 2 days to grow.

Ah okay, I got carrots from the recent batch which I planted yet again. Is there any way to distinguish the changes visually? (Like between full-grown harvest able which yields carrots versus full-grown seed bearing stages?)

first stage carrot looks like just a little green sprout. second stage has a little orange nub and green leafy bit, you can harvest 1 carrot at this stage. 3rd stage has white flowers or something on the leafy bit, and yields seeds when you harvest. 4th stage has a big fat orange part and green leafy bit again, yields 1-3 carrots depending on nature/industry slider.

Thank you. What about all the other plants though? Don't want the carrots to feel special.
