Where do you find clay

Postby Fenrispantom » Wed Apr 07, 2010 2:56 am

I've notice that i can find clay along the shallows of the river near me and the at the lake near by, but i just don't find a lot of the stuff usually one or two at most and i like to find more. Does anyone know where to look or is it just random with no good spot? If it not random and there are goods spot is the any signs to one such as terrain its up against.

Please if you know the information would be helpful in setting up my farm and future village (i hope for a village)

keep digging around every 40 tiles along the river, if your lucky youl find a deposit that has a lot in a area, if you do any tile in that area will take from the deposit

It's random. Basically you have to go 50 tiles along the water's edge and try again and keep doing this until you hit a tile that produces more than one meagre little q10 cube. The good news is that when you do find a spot it will probably be more than enough for a personal homesteads needs, oven, kiln, urns and stuff no problem. The trick is actually finding one.

1: Get on a boat and travel a minimap or so down a river
2: Get out, don't drown
3: Dig in the water
4: If you don't find a clay deposit(your guy will keep digging getting 2+ rather then one or none) Repeat step one
5: If you have found a deposit...
6: ???????????
7: Profit.
