You are wearing the gauze, right?

Healing hhp goes slowly. It seems to happen more when you exert yourself, though.

Also once it has healed 10 HHP it stops working I think. Becomes bloody rags or whatever.

it becomes a bloody rag after being on your head for 2 seconds, i dont know how it heals but ive noticed it kept going for me till i had less then 4 hhp to heal regardless of what my hhp was at the time, and losing hhp later didnt start it up again

Ok to clear this up. One gauze heeals 33% of your hhp total. so if you have 10/100hhp one gauze will fill it slowly up to 43/100, after that it becomes useless. The gauze only turns to a bloody rag when you take it off of your head, which you should do when you notice it stopped healing.

Updated http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Gauze based on this, please be sure I did it right.

Its not changed in the wiki.
Gauze heals one HHP at a time, very slowly. When removed, it produces a useless Bloody Rag.

I propose to change it to this:
Gauze heals one HHP at a time, very slowly. Up to 33% of your HHP total. When removed or after it has healed 33%, it produces a useless Bloody Rag.
