Long distance travel

Is there any sort of zoom function? Travelling by boat to where I fairly regularly need to go is just tedious clicking then scrolling then clicking again. If I could zoom out I could click further away and make the whole process much easier.

Also, I think i read somewhere about a way to lock the screen to the character. That would be an imperfect solution but if its the best available I would take it. Anyone know the command?

I think ':cam fixed' is what you're looking for to lock the camera.

Also there's no zoom, but you can move the camera by middle clicking/middle click and dragging. It'll let you click a bit further while traveling.

Thanks. I knew I had read it somewhere before. Already doing the middleclick drag thing. but its not enough when it takes 50+ clicks to travel to the grassland area I scouted out. And thats just 1 way.

Awesome guys. This is pretty much perfect. Saves me the effort of dragging the screen up while boat travelling. I still think default is best for around the house though.
