Bug or Skills influence ?!?

Hello.
Got strange thing. Earlier (yesterday) i could only got 5 apples from 1 tree, 7/10 branches and one bark (didnt check other things) - but now i'm getting branches untill full inv, picked up 20+ apples from one tree in one trip, and got 5 barks (didn't try get more).
I've invest few points in Exploration and started using Backpack.
Is this some king of bug, skill influence or game update ?!?

It seems to be connected to the recent update, yes and it's very likely unintended and bound to change back soon.
