Seed Quality? Ancestral Shrine?

The first one: The wiki is unclear about the quality of seeds. Is your farming skill directly equivalent to the maximum quality a seed can be, once harvested? eg someone with a farming skill of 10 won't be able to get a seed with a QL higher than 10.

Second one: The wiki doesn't have any info on the Ancestral Shrine. What does it do?

no it's a softcap, not a hardcap. so they just get averaged down to your farming skill if your skill is lower than the crop's quality

the shrine is for sacrificing things to your ancestors. unless you've died with a powerful character, don't worry about it.

the quality from your seeds can be higher then your farming lvl.
