Struggling To Make Ink

I have inkweed, a full bucket of water, and a jar. I can't figure out how to get either the inkweed in the bucket or the inkweed in the jar or the water in the jar. It's probably something simple, but I'm stuck.

Craft > Potions & Herbs > Ink
