Planting Trees

Ok so i have this area that is paved with a hole in the pavement. an accident but then yesterday in my travels i saw a tree sapling growing out of one of those holes in someone elses pavement.

So i was wondering how to plant a tree I tried to do it the same way you plant a crop but its not working.

It should be noted that 1 square of space in your pavement is not going to be enough for a sapling to mature into a proper tree. You need a 3x3 area of unobstructed forest/grass floor otherwise it'll be stunted.

no pavement doesn't block tree growth. only things with a hitbox.

I see. Thanks for the clarification.

This is rather annoying. Half of what I read about Haven from the forum and Wiki is incorrect, heh.

The 3x3 information is also incorrect. Chak mentioned something about the radius needing to be 3x the size of the tree of a sort.
