ok i finally got my claim. and at the bottom of it there are 3 boxes. which state tresspassing, theft, vandalism. you can check these 3 boxes(a green check appears)

what does checking them do?


clay. . . eee gads. ok i looked in search and found that your supposed to go and dig every 50 paces till u hit a good deposit. well i been moving roughly every 50 paces in me boat and dig(while still in boat) and i have yet to find one clay brick. i spent a bloody half hour doing this.


pls help me with these issues cause i looked and while server was offline i did the stroll through the announcements and never saw anyting bout this stuff.

what does checking them do?

allows kin with that color permission to trespass, steal, or vandalize on your claim without leaving scents or needing the skills

To further expand upon what Jackard said; checking the boxes will affect what your "friends," or kin, will be able to do on your land (according to the color you may assign in the Kin menu by clicking on a kin, then clicking on one of the boxes). By clicking on the color you want to change, then checking the boxes, you allow permissions for kin that are assigned that color. Checking the trespassing box will allow the kin to walk freely on your land, and interact with objects. Checking the theft box will allow kin to remove items from your land, or take items from containers on your land. Checking the vandalism box will allow friends to destroy buildings or furniture on your land (including plows, carts, etc.). I hope I helped.

as far as I know, digging doesn't work from a boat. just walk along a shore and dig about once a screen. it's relatively safe, as bears and boars should not be able to attack you in the water.

as far as I know, digging doesn't work from a boat. just walk along a shore and dig about once a screen. it's relatively safe, as bears and boars should not be able to attack you in the water.

then you are poorly informed, digging works just fine from a boat, and is completely save from boars and bears

I'd go further than 50 tiles, too. They can be really spaced out.
