The TreePlanter

Postby Omniwar0801 » Mon Apr 12, 2010 1:14 am

alright so i finally made a kiln and got a tree planters pot. and i have it full of dirt water and tree seed. (elm)

So now what do i do?

And how long do i do this or how long with things take.

Im going to guess that i have to wait for the tree to sprout and then and some point i can put it in the place i want to plant it but im wondering if i can at least get a time frame.

put a tree pot with sed in it on a herb table, it'll sprout or die in 2-3 rl hours then you plant. it needs 3x3 area or growth will be stunted

Only things with a hitbox count as breaking into that 3x3 area. So you can plant it surrounded by paving stones in one square of dirt. If you want to make a nice scenic area or whatever.

It's not 3x3 either. Seems to be 5x5

In case you leave 3 free tiles to the next tree it works for sure.
Having only 2 tiles to next tree works in theory, but since you sometimes plant not directly in the center of the tiles the range can get a bit to low.
