Repairing

Does repairing something with high quality materials change its own quality. For example my clay cauldron now, its built with Q15 clay. If I use Q43 that I have a stash of in the cupboard to repair it will the cauldron increase in quality? Or should I just save that clay for new objects that need the quality? And is this true for all items?

i believe that the item does not change Q by what u repair it.

basically after it's bilt, that's it. As far as i know
