Find boughs?

I moved to a broadleaf forest (no firs, has apple trees). All these trees are new to me. What provides boughs that i can use for a bed or a house, etc? I cannot find any boughs on any trees.

EDIT: I found some, seems all the trees around had been stripped by others building ion the area. Downsides of new villages I guess.

For spruce beds, only fir tree boughs will do the trick. As for houses etc there is only one broadleaf tree I know of that produces boughs but as far as I know, the wiki doesn't have a name for it yet. It's got a thin, white-ish trunk and produces branches, bark and seedlings, too. Hope that helps in some way.

The tree I mentioned is about half the width, taller and creamier in colour.

Ah yes, it has to be that one, it's the only one that's not fully in the wiki (except pine)
