How do I join a village?

Hey Hearthlings.

I have seen people saying "Join a village" and "I'm in the village <name>". How do I join a village? Also, is it possible to create a village or are they already made?

You can create your own but they are hard to do. you need to be quite advanced.

However if you want to PM me your hearth secret and i'll chat to you ingame more. i am lawspeaker of a village if you want to join.

In the "In Congress Assembled" forum section you will find recruiting posts for various villages. I haven't quite figured out how to judge the villages as potential homes other than by looking at other posts by the village members and trying to get a sense of what is going on. With us spread out so much, there are probably plenty of good villages that are (by intention or accident of location) little seen in-game by other players.
