It might be the hemp that you now can pick when the plant is flushed red-brown the way it does for a short while before it used to be ready to harvest. You get tips if you do that but you don't get seeds to replant with or fibre. You cure hemp tips on the herbalists bench.

And maybe it is real tobacco... maybe... who knows. The devs aren't telling. So you can scrounge around for www and put them on your herbalists' bench beside the hemp tips and see if they hatch into peas or tobacco or cucumbers or something rather than yet another q3 hop cone.

I have found tobacco seeds by picking Wild Windsown Weeds, they either come from forest or grassland, sorry I don't know which was which.

It doesn't matter on which kind of terrain you picked up www, it depends on the area how they turn out.

Also, are you able to get to Constantinople somehow? Because I would really like to trade some tobacco seeds with you.

So, I smoked some hemp today.

Also in game, the buds finally cured and i tried smoking hemp in Haven and Hearth too.

I got a status condition called "In the Fog", no idea what it did, no noticeable effect. Also a nifty smoking animation that went on for a long time fun stuff.

I hope to put a vending stand somewhere by the river and sell pipes and buds ...

According to loftar, it increases the FEP of the food you eat.

Not sure precisely how it works yet.

How long does cureing the buds take and do you just use a Herbalist table. thats where i have mine sitting now.

420 is tomarrow after all.

All I know is it's a pretty long time (the pie slices fill really damn slow). Mine dried primarily because of the time shenanigans from the downtime.

I'd hazard a guess that it's over a full real-life day, but I could be way off base on that.
