Yellow-glowing inventory items?

Postby Darkren » Tue Apr 20, 2010 6:18 pm

I just tried to left-click an item from my inventory to my action bar. When I put it back in my inventory, it had a yellow hue that only appears when placed in the inventory, disappearing when changing containers, or doing the same to a different item.

What's the deal?

The yellow overlay indicates a hotkey:ed item.

Would be great if that would work then too.

It only works for items that have some sort of right-click use command, right? (Namely all the tons of various needless cup items, flasks, etc.) I imagine most people are expecting tools to auto-equip/unequip, which I can't for the life of me convince them to do.

It is nice to be able to hotkey my water, though.

With the original one my toon develops claustrophobia to quickly (because he seems to be in a tiny room), so yes - i use Pacho's client since it offers a reasonable window size.

In case you could backport the user configurable screen resolution to the original client i would happily use it and praise you two even more for your fine sparetime product.
