cupboards. do they die inside

I'm reading wiki and it talks bout cupboard have like no chance against decay(kinda like a 1 hit KO)


Anyhoo it says they should be put inside to avoid decay, but it also says like you can still lose it?


would someone clarify what it means on how u can lose stuff in it or the Cupboard itself.

They do if a Raider or Griefer just waltz in and decides to smash the cupboard to bits.

I have yet to lose a cupboard while it was inside. But I did make the mistake of taking one outside, it did not live long.
