Destroy own Hearth Fire

I'm attempting to move my character to a village with a friend who's a long distance away. Apparently, if I destroy my hearth fire, I can log in and spawn in the village. I don't have a whole lot of strength or a pickaxe -- is there any way I can destroy it? Alternately, is anyone around Port St. Ria and willing to do it for me?

You cannot destroy your own hearthfire, so you will need to find someone to do it for you.

Is a high strength required to destroy it at all, or does a lower strength simply mean it will take longer? If the latter, how is it correlated - will someone with 30 strength take twice the time to destroy a hearthfire as someone with 60 strength?

alternatively, you could set a new hearth fire. turns the old one into just a pile of firewood, or nothing (always have a few fires prepped, couldn't be sure)

  Yeah, well he doesn't want to move his fire. He wants to move to another village using respawn. Hm. You could always try just walking / boating there. Might be more time effective.

When I spawned in I knew EXACTLY where I was. (sarcasm)
That's why I spended 2 hours walking around trying to find landmarks and viewing the worldmap to try matching where the hell I was.
(Do I need to tell that I still haven't figured out.)

And walking is so awesome too. You get charged by natures friendly guides (animals) that knocks you out of your shoes, without being able to hit them back because you do not even possess the knowledge of simple attacking (punching. Which still appears to be a mystery to gain.).

This game is so awesome. After losing my shoes, I could even walk continiously for hours (Sarcasm), getting thorns in my feet that bled me to uncounciousness all the time.

  I think you misunderstood his 'welcome to haven'. I think it was more geared that they're still maintaining the 'welcome to the wilderness' approach. Heck, even if he wasn't wardozer there was laced with sarcasm so why can't Jorb? It's a bit stupid how many people seem to think that they can be all sarcastic and sometimes outright rude but if a Dev/Mod joins in what's going on they're suddenly uncaring assholes.
  Grow up, pre-beta game. If you know enough in the game to co-ordinate where you are in the game world, then why aren't you using the forums to get an HS or something to where you want to go anyway? I don't know about others but starting in the middle of no where tended to give me a chance as a noob. Of course aside from the boar attacks, but those never killed me they were just a pain at low-level.
