How do i kill a bear.

I have recently come across a bear and tried trapping it with signs. I quickly discovered it will destroy stuff so anyone know the best way to kill a bear?

being badass/overpowered or though a boat, or put a wall of palisade/brick between you and it

This works for me.

1.Get in a boat and carry a good q sling with you and a bunch of stones
2.Find a bear
3.Intimidate it and keep doing so until it starts running away
4.When it does start running away immediately make peace with it (this usually makes it stop right were it is)
5.Keep a distance before intimidating again and refill your stone ammo if necessary
6.Shoot, make peace and repeat

btw be prepared to faint and I recommend having a high marksmanship like around 15+ and Q20 sling.

Or, be an awesome player and punch it to death. I think they changed the way bears and boars and foxes run away, before they used to always stop when they ran into things, now I think they have pathfinding.
