Play through proxy

Postby nucleartux » Thu Apr 22, 2010 6:16 pm

Hello.

I have a problem, I started to use a proxy and now I can not get authorization ...

Login Error: no route to host: connect

In the Java Control Panel, I made all the settings but as you see it does not help.

What is the problem and how to solve this problem?
Thank you.

PS my OS WindowsXP SP3

Why do you need to use a proxy?

How bout, don't play at work? I know its a great game and all but you'd be better off playing it at home. trust me, you get your work done, and have something to rush home for. You've got plenty of free time at home.

I know a number of jobs that require your attention for about half or less of your actual working time. How about night-shift supervisor, whose main focus is to not get asleep at his work place and monitor sensor data once every half-hour.
I don`t think it`s your place to suggest what people should or should not do while they are at work.

Moreover, this isn't necessarily a very "active" game to play...fishing, for example, is nice to do while working.

Anyway, all I can say is that seems like the proxy isn't routing things correctly, so you could try finding another. I'm told there are a ton of them.

I'm confused, is the haven and hearth site blocked where you work or are going to school?

No it isnt, but for some reason I cannot start a game behind a proxy even when I specify correct proxy credentials in Java settings. Site is ok, forum is accessible via the same proxy just fine.

I have a Part Time job as a night guard, and yeah it gets way dull after a few hours. My old Game Boy Color just dont cut it as much anymore. Haven is a great way to pass more than a few of those hours poking at buttons. That would also give me my Haven fix so I can play CD based games after I get home.
