How do I... get rid of my palisade

Postby JayCross » Sat Apr 24, 2010 12:39 am

I already know that I need major strenght and a pick to scratch it so I was thinking on using a ram.
Then I would like to know how much strenght is needed to use it and how many people (minimum)

it soaks the first 30 damage

a ram adds 20 damage, a pickaxe 2 and every 10 strength does 1 damage

bear cape and bear tooth amulet are good ways of adding strength

so yeah on your own 90 strength to damage it, with 2 people only a total of 70, with 3 a total of just 50, all assuming you have the pickaxes

Also, snort boar snuff if you have it.
good luck with the pummeling.

You make the ram, wait for the glue to dry... BE VERY CAREFUL.. make the ram exactly near the place where you want to destroy the palisade, moving it for small distance will damage it and you will have to repair it with glue and wait again for the glue to dry. After the glue has dried get your other guy and right click on the ram and select use (both of you). If you have enough strength combined (like over 110 to make one point of damage to the palisade) and enough food and water (palisade has like 2500 points, if somebody knows better please correct me) you will succeed :) after a lot of work :(.
Or you just can wait for it to degrade :) like I do for the last one and a half weeks :D. This in case you are stuck inside the palisade :D ... like I am :D. Thanks to this I got to 70 at farming (with a good hat :) ). Gooood luck :)

The ram needs to stand next to the palisade of course, even if your one person you can still control the ram, so 2 people is better than 1. ;)

I do not know about pickaxe :( What I know is that you add 20 from ram and your combined strength/10 ( like you have 55 strength and your friend 65 .. that means a sum of 120 , divided by 10 = 12) and you get total damage points (for the example it means 32). The palisade absorbs 30 . That means you will do only 2 points of damage per hit. 2500 (or how many points does the palisade has) divided by 2 = 1250 hits you have to make to destroy it. :(
If you guys have a lot of strength, like a sum of 1000 :) that means (1000/10 + 20 - 30 = 90) 90 damage per hit. In this case you only have to hit it for around 30 times.
I think the pickaxe will add some more damage if you have it equipped but I am not sure about this :(
