stuck leaving the house

Postby bananenmarmelade » Mon Apr 26, 2010 3:44 pm

as the title says im stuck after leaving a house. there were wild sheep near the house and one was sitting exactly before the door. i thought maybe attacking them and getting knocked out would be a good idea. but it wasnt. i didnt get out. and to make things even worse some of the sheep are still aggroing me after i was knocked out. now i cannot even teleport back (what i would not appreciate doing). any suggestions?

Log out and wait it out. If nobody sees them for 30 minutes, the sheep will despawn. But they'll likely wander off before that, so waiting 5-10 minutes should do the trick.

If you have somehow managed to end up occupying the same spot as another person/animal/object you can often break free by sprinting away. This is a known bug. It works best if both sprint in opposite directions. Failing that if you log out the other person/animal that was in the same spot can then wander away and when you log back in on the spot you will no longer be trapped.

Just a note, the animal AI is not active when there are no players around, so if nobody watches them they won't move or do anything else until they despawn.
