how do i attack

ok so me and my friends trapt 2 moose's but we dont know what to do when this bar pops up any help?

Okay... first of all, do you have hunting and will to power? And if you have those have you picked a combat form? The choices are unarmed, melee and marksmanship. You don't need to buy any skills to get marksman ship and make a sling, but you do need to get combat skills to start using unarmed or melee.

If you have melee or unarmed you probably can't attack the animal you have trapped because your trap will be in the way. So Marksman with a sling is the easiest way to go. Melee you can use your all purpose stone axe to attack but means you are close enough that the animal will get to attack you too.

The sling takes five pieces of fibre (any kind -nettles, taproot, plant fibre, whatever.) You need to equip the sling and fill your inventory with stones, and then click on the icon of the arrow in the attack menu.

Your moose are probably deer. They can heal themselves and each other so the best way to hunt them is to trap them away from each other and then all attack the one creature at once.
