No, really. I received N Ql worms from N Ql eggs with inferior (~10Ql) and better (~30Ql) tables.

Also you forgot about water Q in a cauldron.

AFAIK nothing influences quality of filaments. Thread is wheel and sewing and psy, and cloth is loom and sewing and psy.
Herbalist tables can only decrease quality of worms if they're lower q than eggs, they can never increase quality (same as leaves).
Crafting ranger gear is sewing and psy.
