"Seal"

Postby Gerrado » Thu Apr 29, 2010 2:01 pm

right, so the palisade i made wont extend over a cliff, and i discovered the option "seal" i assumed it may seal over the end of the palisade since i hadnt seen the option, i used it, still able to walk around the palisade, and all options for the cornerpost are blocked, wow, what a useful option. I'll definitely do that again!

It is there to prevent someone else from expanding on your palisade to, for example, block the entrance to it. I agree that the situation is far from optimal, but I'm not sure I can think of a better solution.

maybe on corner posts you can make the seal option increase the hitbox radius by another tile each way? that could make it alot easier for people surrounded by cliffs

That has nothing to do with going over a cliff. The definition of seal your using means to cover something; seal it in something. Not Seal it over it a cliff.

right, there was a "hole" at the end of the cliff, going over the cliff has nothing to do with it, there was still a hole in my wall, therefore, i imagined, the "seal" option would seal the hole, thus, proving my definition of "seal" to be right, also, if you dont know the definition of "seal" without googling it, you're either incredibly foreign, or have no grasp of the english language

Here's the biggest tip I can give you for playing this game: If you don't know what it does, ask first.

If the wiki seems like it MIGHT be wrong, ask here or on IRC.

I've been asking some more experienced players to add information to the wiki so I can wiki-fy it, but it seems no one's really moving on that :/

the wiki is so inaccurate it is unbelievable, i hardly take anything as word on there, especially the fishing pages. but i just assumed, and i assumed wrong, guess its true what they say about assumption then.
