If you have carpentry get two wood blocks and make a pair of clogs asap. In the mean time try not to walk around as with every step you have a chance of getting another thorn.

If you have hunting but not carpentry, and have already caught a couple of rabbits you can use their dried skins to make a pair of bunny slippers. Your first priority is getting some kind of foot gear!

Once you have done that you can look for a marsh and stand in it and see if leeches attach to you on your equipment screen. Leeches take soft hit points(which self heal) but have a chance to restore hard hit points. This is not quick, and obviously if you are down to very few soft hit points it is dangerous, but you can probably find leeches before you can get a bandage.

If you can get wool and if you can make a loom and if you have the first aid skill you can make a bandage. Chances are though if you have enough resources and skills to do this you already know about how to do this.

If you have nearby experienced and friendly neighbours you can ask them for a bandage and to do first aid on you.

Good luck! Hang in there and don't run into any bears!

When you say "Down to 21% on the orange bar" you don't happen to mean you are starving, do you? If you are down to 21% on the bar to the right which has a little picture of a fried chicken leg beside it, you also need to get some food, and quickly as once you start starving you start losing hard hit points and will eventually die.

I think Bunny Slippers requires the 'Cloth Making' skill.
Alternatively you can learn Lumberjacking and then Carpentry.

All those skills are 200 LPs to learn I think.

You'll need to find a swamp to walk around in to get leeches attached. It's pretty slow, but your only option short of having someone bandage you.

Clogs are actually armor and will protect you just a little bit when boars and bears attack you. The drawback is that they also get destroyed in these attacks. Bunny slippers are not armor and provide no protection against monstrous beastly attackers, and can only be destroyed by taking them off and forgetting to put them away. For this reason I prefer bunny slippers. If you have clogs you need to check that you still have them after each time something attacks you.
