Ridges for Walls

Postby DukeBenjy » Sun May 02, 2010 10:56 pm

I can't seem to make my walls watertight when building against ridges. Can't ridges act as natural walls? Boars and people can still get through the little gap between the wall and ridge, it's not very useful.
I once was a man of murder, grief, and sadness. No more.

If your dead set on using them, well they don't conform to the tiles properly, so basically what you do is build out your wall square with the grid as close as you can get, then hit shift while placing a new wall cornerpost and use em to fill in the gaps, they won't be aligned to the grid so don't start like that or gates will be a headache. Depending on the ridge and wall type, it may be pricier than it's worth tho.
