Taming problem

Okay I got my first 20 taming points thanks to the guide but what to do next? sometimes the icon of the auroch stays in the upper right corner and sometimes it doesn't. the auroch stil follows me around though. what do i need to do to get the next 20 taming points?

for some time he will aggro you again (a picture in right upper corner of screen) then you have to do same as you did when you got 20 fist points.

I made that mistake. Make sure there is no icon up the top right. So if you make a mistake and attack him before he attacks you then you have to start over. Best thing to do is lead him back home and stick him in a pen. then just work on your plot a bit or rest until he aggros you again. He is safely held inside a pen so you can get the needed IP back before facing him again. Best of luck.

You can speed up the taming process by leaving one or two of its herd alive. Simply de-aggro yourself by walking away to de-aggro its herd members, and then attacking its herdmembers would prompt the auroch or mufloun you're tryiung to tame into attack you, without losing any taming points for striking it first.
