Local Map on edge of World

Hey all,

I've begun using Cartography and I have completed an entire local map except for the far right column of minimaps (the right edge of the map). I apparently live at the end of the world because there is an invisible line I cannot cross all along the ocean and forest on the right side of my area - try as I might, I simply cannot cross on foot or by boat a certain arbitrary boundary. So I can't map that column.

That said, does this mean my local map will never be completed, and thus cannot be used for a regional map?

Yes, but in my case at least, I found that the region map that that local map belonged to was not on the 'main' SG, and in fact was just off the 'real world' (eg. the SG ended before that region map).
