Where is some sand?

Im trying to make raw glass. I know that im supposed to get sand from a beaches but I cant find any beaches. If someone could also list the color of a beach on the mini map that would be helpfull.

its at some lakes and its bright yellow, youl know when you see it, if your in doubt then you havent found it.
