Increase brick quality

I have access to q36 clay build a kiln use q20 branches for fuel and bricks are only about q25. How do I get better bricks?

Use quality clay and fuel, eg. use good bonesaw to cut high-quality boards from good trees and fuel with them.

- Possibly require bone and branch for saw

Well if I get better fuel will bricks ever reach q of clay used(q36 clay,q20 fuel,q25 brick)? Do attributrs/skills limit quality?

With fuel above q36 you will actually push the brick q beyond 36. No skills play role in the actual brick burning part, but carpentry is involved in making planks, and survival in making the bone saw. A good saw (say, one made with bear bone) is going to make boards higher than the tree q, provided you have sufficient carpentry.
