Need Help With Charisma!

Hey guys/girls, I guess most of you out there know how to gain 'CHA' or Charisma.
So, I pretty sure I know how to get it up, and that's by eating grapes, raisins, ect. But there's a problem, when I put my cursor over it, it says "14" but it is actually 10, and its coloured red.

So if you have a good, explaining answer, please post. If not, just don't post at all.

Red means that it's effective value is decreased (what you get on mouseover is the base value). This can be due to picking barbarism on the beliefs slider (it boosts str and con, but reduces cha and int) or due to charisma-decreasing equipment (I can't think of any atm).
