How do i tell what supergrid im on?

how do i find out what supergrid im on?
im mostly just curious but also i want to know where i am in relation to my freind

Make a group with your friend. then click their portrait in the group bar. you will start walking right towards them.

Have your friend as kin (on your friends list). Once you have that you click their name on the list and then click invite to party. You can have quite a few ppl in a party. I don't know of any limit. you also get a special party chat so you can all talktogether. make sure you are not the third person coz that green is a damn annoying colour, so hard to read.

Ok, back on topic....once in a party little arrows will appear on the side of the screen. unless you are really close to each other these arrows are normally bugged and point the wrong way. So make sure you click on the portrait (probably a questionmark if you are far away) in the top left of the screen just below yours. When you click it your char will move directly towards where your pary mate is. Good luck.

I'm just trying to find out where I am on the world map website (think its made from a bunch ppl sent in).

I've come to the conclusion that I"m in the unmapped portion couldn't respawn on my log out after the server crashed so I went back from hearth fire (never built a new one) where I first spawned and stole a boat off the lake where I caught the river that led to my spot (really hope I can find it, there are like four rivers leading off from this spot on the lake, and I don't really remember which one I took, plus there's another turn after that

It's a very distinctive lake, going east west at the west end then curving straight up northeast on the eastern end, with a bunch of easily identifiable river formations. I just can't find it on the map tho That world map is the same orientation as the map ingame right? Can you get larger than minimap while ingame?
