Postby Seriyu » Wed May 12, 2010 8:48 pm

One, can a rowboat fit through a door, and two, can a palisade be built on shallow water?

you can carry a boat through a door. pallisades can't be built in shallow water.

You know you can just pick your boat up and carry it thru the gate right? I assume you're trying to keep it from getting stolen. You can also put some pretty big things in those two slots in the boat. I haven't found anything I can use the lift command on that won't fit in the boat except a boat :) Then you can carry just the boat to your final destination before lifting the two objects out of it. This is quite awesome for scavenging b/c you can take two boats in it, land somewhere near the target, then fill the pots and your inventory up and carry three times as much back. More if you can build a chest I guess (I don't have any metal).

This is all assuming you're just trying to secure your boat.
