Eventually you want to get your exploration and perception up to very high levels so you can see rustroot on forest tiles. From that make rustroot extract then begin your seacrh for a mine. Once you find a mine THATS where you want to start your village.

What do you mean? And how do I change the slider to nature? I cant move it for some reason. Also, how do I get a flax field started, or any field? Do i have to take from other people, or is there other means of getting seeds?

I kinda want to start a small little village for me and my buds, so, what do you suggest I do? Like, I know i need a clay thingy to get clay and start making pots and what not.
