LP Grind... Hunting Walkthrough?

So I'm just looking at all the possible ways to grind up lp. I have a few small plots in my village I use to farm with, but nothing colossal and I'm not a farmer so I don't really invest too much into that (Full Industry). It's still good for bursts of lp though.

I've also been grinding by shooting down cows by making barriers around rocks and taking out whole herds.. Takes a while with my 20 MM though...

And lastly I'm working towards being a miner/smith, but I hear that makes shit for lp, so there's no point in investing in that for LP purposes. Otherwise I just do miscellaneous tasks that raise LP.

I've heard a lot of people talking about hunting as an awesome way for large amounts of LP.. If someone could lay out a walk through of what skills I should take and what I should be hunting, how, when and where through all the stages so I can plan on how I'm going to gain LP. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Firstly, get your Marksman up. 20 is too low. What you are doing with the cows and sheep is the first step of hunting. You do essentially the same thing with other animals. Except the others run away so you want to box THEM in. Its also important to get your sling Quality up. That means very good quality fibres and high survival to crft the sling. After a bit of work, some trading and a few generous ppl I have got MM to 90, a Q111 sling and pretty decent bronze plate armour. I can solo bears face to face without any of that cheap hiding in a boat shit ppl use.

Just wokr on it bit by bit. Remember that your aiming speed is limited by 2x sling quality and your marksman. Whichever is lower is limiting it. Perception is also important in determining minimum damage so start eating carrot based foods or if you can kill boars make lamb sausages with boar and sheep meat for some good perception feps. Personally I use a sword and shield and it's great LP! At 44 Melee Combat skill I'm rackin up the LP by killing boars, foxes, deers, bears, etc! Whatever that's unlucky enough to be right in the path of my onslaught.

Hunting & Bucket-making seem to be good LP sources.

Crafting stuff gives pretty sweet LP as well.

Melee+str+good Q equips(sword+armor.) makes for easy hunting. I suppose it would probably be a good idea to have decent cons too.

I've got 50 MC currently and can't seem to take out some boars, it just feels like my cooldown bar is way too slow, Death or Glory can give me about 16 LP before I get to use Dash again, is this normal?

If so, how the heck do I deal with boars? I'm assuming the only way to make that go faster is with Combat Meditation. I'd like to start taking out boars (most of the ones nearby are 6~10) but those bums always gain advantage, and since Dash is so slow I can't get up my defence in nearly half the time I'd want.
