Finding WWWs

I got 8 exploration, but I still cannot seem to find any wwws. I have foraging, so what gives?

That only gives you a chance to see them, and they aren't the most prolific of herbs in the first place. I'd recommend pumping your exploration a bit more and perhaps wandering further afield in your searches (which is a good thing to do anyway as I believe the seed type is determined by the 100x100 area the weed spawned in - to get all the crops you'll need quite a selection of weeds).

all i need is one weed, any suggestions on what to do? Should I run far off to search for one, or get more exploration?

More exploration gives you a higher success rate, but looking further afield makes it more likely you're actually passing one that has spawned (whether you see it or not). Ideally, you'd do both. Personally I'd just raise exploration and keep on working on my camp and you'll eventually find one in that area, most likely.

Exploring your surroundings has side benefits, though, like perhaps finding neighbors who will give you some seeds or finding unclaimed crops you can harvest.

Both. Run around looking and also work on getting exploration up. Once you get about 15 exploration they will be fairly common. Once you get to the really higher levels the things are everywhere and you just ignore them.

ever since i reached 15p x 10e I am seeing them everywhere. Get your PxE up to 150+ and you should have no problem with them. I actually see more of them then I do nettles now.
