Bulb hunting req

I have heard that about 4-6k per*exp result in the maximal amount of bulbs found. True? False? The only report I found on here was 35*40, which is rather pitiful compared to 6k.

Was that my report? The numbers sound pretty similar to what I was thinking I'd said somewhere before when I opened the thread.

That's my sole experience with hunting bulbs, but I can say they were very rare at that level. I wouldn't doubt that you need much higher to actually see them regularly.

I'm now pretty fully equipped to go bulb hunting and have a significantly higher per*exp now, so in a day or two I can probably report the difference between that and whatever it is I have now (too lazy to check). It'd be nice if others chimed in, though.

from the last map my experience is, per/exp 50/50 then you would see practically all of them, you can still find bulbs on lower skills but you will most probably not find all thats there.

everytime when you see a tile with bulb you "roll" if you see it or not. You can actually see all of them when you get a chance to see them. And thats round 1k. After that you can see them at 1st roll when you have round 6k
