Need Help With Mining

Hey guys/girls, I was walking around prospecting my ass off, and I finally found some copper. There's 2 problems though...
1. It said it is 2% usable, does that mean its unusable?
2. how do I get to it? I have tried digging, and using the mining button.
So if you have a good answer please post it, of not, just don't post at all.

Ok, you are about 980 tiles away from the mine. Walk about 10 or 20 tiles in each of the 4 directions and prospect again. Whichever one has higher copper is the direction the copper is in. Walk a couple of minimaps (125tiles) in that direction. Prospect to keep yourself on track. You need to find the 100% point. When you do that your char will walk over and start building the mine. You need 100 logs for this so keep one wood block in your inventory so you can start the building site. otherwise you have to prospect again to put in the block next time. Once you have at least once block just build it normally. then you got a mine entrace. Use the mine abaility on the walls underground to mine ore. then smelt as usual. Have fun.
