Prospecting?How far?

So i got some rustroot extract and prospecting,now before i run everwhere,
my friend told me that it shows all mines in 1000x1000 tiles.is that like 1 minimap or huger?

1 minimap is 125x125 tiles. so yes, its a few times larger than a minimap.

Oh, and it's not 1000x1000 tiles, it's a circle with a 1000 tile radius.

Wasn't it a 500-tile radius? I'd heard people say it's a 1000x1000 square, so I assumed they meant that...

People don't know what they're saying. 1% in prospecting is 10 tiles. 100% is 1000 tiles, so it's a 1000 tiles radius.
