Time for a clay/soil/water vein to recharge?

Postby DatOneGuy » Fri May 21, 2010 10:17 am

Just wondering how long it takes for a clay/soil/water vein to recharge 1 quality point or however much it does in one 'tick'.

I had thought it was 1 quality point a day, however we took our q66 water vein to q52, and it recharged completely within 3~4 days.

I've heard that decay has to do with it. And the higher quality the larger the actual area of the thing so more decay hits strike it in a given time so it recovers quicker. Not sure if any of this is true though.

I have seen no decay effect my veins. The recover for an inventory hit on my veins takes about a rl day. If the clay was 46 and dug down to 44 then the nex day it would be back up to 46. So perhaps you can extrapolate from that.

Thank you.

If that's the case, I'm probably correct in assuming that it's 1q every 8 hours roughly.

I'm going to have to time this on the next clay vein I find.

How would you know if a large portion of land had been hit by decay or not though?

Even if it isn't caused by decay hits, it is variable based on resource level. Higher quality levels take less time to go down, but also less time to recover.
