No animals/fish in my Region.

Hey, I got a question!
What does effect the animals and fish in a region? Me and my friends live alone by a hugeass lake. There is no Fish, no animals...
nothing. It was quite a big forest, with 1 claim somewhat 3minutes from us.

What does effect animals? Last place we had quite alot of animals.
(We are totall N00bs, we need rabbits/fish for food and bones)

It's random. Try another time or place.

Sometimes it goes so random that... well.. there's a bear inside my fence.. it simply spawned inside my fence - near my cabin's door (I have a gate, but not claimed land though)... so I'm locked in for a bit
