Milestones and raod making

Postby sandworm55 » Thu May 27, 2010 12:01 am

ok, so how do they work, as just trying it isn't something i want to do, so, can i use those with carts, and do i put them in the middle of the road, or where does the hearthling path follow, is it ontop is it to the side, and is it one of those things that you can make in multiple directions, how do you USE the milestone, i look on the wiki and google, but they all seemed to tell you how to do the action of building it, not how to build it to be used or how to use it

They are not very good right now. Can't use them with carts. And just build them and try them out. Its not that hard.

Technically you can use them with carts, but if the spacing and latency aren't just right you'll find it more trouble than it's worth. For sprinting around I find it useful though.

When you place the first marker (The one that requires dreams to build) you'll notice a green circle. Imagine that circle around every one of your milestones. When you're following a road, your hearthling will start pathing towards the next milestone the moment it enters that green circle. I prefer to put them in a zigzag pattern so you don't end up walking off your paved road. You can always place the stones first and then pave after (or never).
