Palisade & a few other questions

What level carpentry do you need to create palisades?

And, how do I forage? Im not really sure how.

You need Yeomanry for palisades.

You need the Foraging skill to be able to pick plants you find on the ground. You need to raise your Perception (with food) and your Exploration (with LP) to be able to see the plants you can pick.
