Any way to speed up the process of finding a mine?

Postby Seriyu » Tue Jun 01, 2010 12:12 am

So, I've finally managed to find enough rustroot to be consistantly searching for a mine, and uhhhh, there doesn't seem to be any anywhere I've been.

I realize they're rare, and supposed to be hard to find, but is there any specific place they can be found more often or something of the sort?

The best place to find it is at the edges of the world.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

I don't really know where I am in relation to that, unfortunatly, and I'd prefer not to travel that far. I'm beginning to see that travel is a nesscessity for mines, unfortunatly.

If it helps, the area I'm in doesn't seem to have very many large villages, mostly small establishments and a few budding villages nearby. I have yet to see an actual discovered mine hole, claimed or otherwise, so I'd think there'd be quite a few around.

You need someone that can voluntarily party with you while they are in Constantinople which is at the center of the world. Once you know the direction, head opposite of that direction.

You`ve seen several villages and claims? Theres no freaking way that theres a useable Mine nearby, maybe youll find one in a cave half an hour walk away from the entrace.

Move.

Ways to find your location (general, not exact)
1)Get someone who knows their location to party you, chose the 'follow' command on them to see where they are in relation to you.
2)Find a village nearby and either ask a villager or see if anyone knows where that village is.
