How do I make higher quality bows?

so right now i have 26 marksman, and a q13 sling and i hear switchign to bows should take place around marksman 60 ish, but at 60, would i need a q 30+ bow to get the most outa it, how would i get it that high. asside from q60 string and a q10 branch

You need high survival(?), good someattributethatstartswitha"p"(which is optional somewhat) and high Q materials.

That is really the only way.

Have a higher quality tree you take the sticks from.

This essentially means you need to plant your own trees to increase the quality of them; this entails having high quality planter's pots (needing high quality clay), soil, water, tree "seeds", and herbalist's table.

Also, making bows goes off your marksman skill not your survival. Arrows and sling are survival though.

So the quality of the items creating the bow DO affect the quality of the bow as well, not just Marksmanship? Am I getting this right? Or is it ONLY Marksmanship that affects the quality of the bow whilst creating it?

MM only limits Q of bow. And Q of bow is average Q of all items that you use to craft it.

And sling is much better than bows (with the exception of the limited use of ranger bows in pvp but they suck too)

Okay thank you. Do I only need Survival to find higher qualities of those items to create higher quality bows, or is there another I should invest into as well? I'm thinking about just switching to Sling now though, but it'd be nice to know for the future.

Do you ever read posts in response to you? Like Avu pointed out slings are better then bows. Dont bother with bows, you aim slower and that doesnt make up for more damage.
