How can i find village/town???

I have a small problem. I can't find any villages or towns! I don't like playing alone and i am beginner so i need some veterans help. Meybe subject was somewhere but i coudln't find that. THANKS FOR ALL HELP

Well, we are a new village, but we are all very experienced. I get on around 3pm or 4pm. My hearth secret is.... crap I cant check and i cant remember it off the top of my head... lol the server is down. If you dont mind waiting, I will get back to you with it.

Option 1: Grab a boat, explore everything per water ways. You will eventually find a village, denoted by a big red symbol on your minimap. Read runestones (to find a forum name to contact), leave a runestone (with your forum name, for example), try to catch somebody online and ask to join.
Option 2: Dwarves & Thieves subforum. Contact someone per PM or their thread. Once you've found someone, ask for a village invite (requires you to be grouped with the village's lawspeaker or chieftain), destroy your hearthfire, then log out and choose the Village Idol option when you're logging back into the game.
