prospecting

so, if i do the prospecting, and i move around, does it refresh, or do i have to keep prospecting as i move, also, how far should i move, like i use a wagon, so how far should i use, how far is 1000 tiles at wagon speed

pick a spot, stand still and prospect...this covers 1000 tiles around you, then move at least 500 (more according to how much rr you have).And do it again. As far as "how far is 1000 tiles"...look at your steps. Walk about 10-50 steps and get a gauge of how far that is then use your imagination to picture how far 100 tiles is and 500 and 1000. Due to terrain noone can really give you a figure timewise as to how far it is. Just walk 50 tiles and imagine 20 times that to get an idea in your head of how far it is.

i've got a question about prospecting, must be on land or works and even if you're in the boat or wagon???? :?:

You can prospect while onboard a rowboat. I guess you can do so while sitting on a wagon, too, but that I haven't tried that myself.
Remember to check caves, too, since they aren't included in "open air"-reports.
