To grow a tree upon grass

What type of tree is it that grows fastest when planted upon terrain that has been grassed?

From my own expirience of treeplanting, grass doesnt seem to be native for any kind of trees. Even birches grow very slow on it. Tried with mulberry and apple too, much slower than light forest terrain.

I think it would probably be a mulberry, apple, or etc. tree. All other's seem to grow really slow on it.

I seem to get better Mulberry on grasslands but this just could be a coincidence. Not sure how much time difference it is, though.

Mulberry, Apple, Nut, Oak, Birch are native to the broad-leaf light forest.

Fir, Pine, Willow are native to the coniferous forest.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.
