spindly taproot

Seriously I have about 12 in game hours and haven't seen a single spindly taproot once.the majority of my time has been spent in the forests. Is this just that rare? Or do I need to get one of my attributes like exploration up to a certain level>?

I saw them at 1 PERC and 1 exploration long ago, but rare. Are you sure that you have Foraging?

Try to rise it up to 10 at first.

yea I've got foraging. I'll try bumping up explo to 10 and see what that does.

10 perc, you can't really have less than what you start out with. And yes, you can find spindly taproot with 10 PER and 1 Exploration, albeit rare. You might be able to double your chances by raising your exploration by one point (at least that's how I'm guessing the foraging system works); throw a few points into it, though, and you should be finding plenty.

So you played for 12 hours before you thought you would risk the 100Lp and bump up explore by 1 level. Heh, this may not be the game for you...

Yeah, I starting seeing Spindly Taproot quite often once I added a point to my Exploration skill. But I don't suggest just upgrading your exploration repeatedly before learning any skills.
