Repairing

Postby Kolazonta » Sun Jun 06, 2010 10:37 pm

My kiln is in poor condition. That's bad. And I have only one question:

Does quality of materials used to repair affects quality of object (kiln in that case)?

It doesn't seem to in my experience, and I've never seen anyone suggest that it does.

Ach, okay. Thank you.

And... okay, now will be one more stupid question:
Any chance to check ql of the object (kiln, oven, loom...) ?

Not really, no. You'd have to do some testing (or wait for someone more experienced than me to answer) and figure out the formula used to determine item quality (bricks, food, cloth) when using the object.

For example, it might be (kiln quality + clay quality) / 2 = brick quality, or some such...so some math will let you figure out the kiln quality. But yeah, I don't remember any of the real formulas off-hand, sorry.

Thx. I know formulas for bricks etc ( (2* ql of ceramic + ql of fuel + ql of kiln) /4 ) but was hoping for some magic short cut like "click shift + ctrl + close one eye = u will see ql of object!". Anyway - thx for help.
